Farmer Foodshare's annual harvest dinner is back! Join us for Roots & Revelry at Lantern in Chapel Hill as we celebrate our shared efforts to reshape the local food system.

James Beard award-winning chef Andrea Reusing will craft a family-style, multi-course farm-to-table feast marrying complex Asian flavors with ingredients from North Carolina farms. Experience local beers as well as complimentary wine pairings from Piedmont Wine Imports, and extend the fun with one-of-a-kind experiences from our silent auction.

Join the VIP experience! Enjoy a champagne toast, first dibs on the auction, and an exclusive opportunity to chat with Andrea Reusing, Jay Murrie of Piedmont Wine Imports, and Vera Fabian and Gordon Jenkins from Ten Mothers Farm about their experiences in crafting and sourcing the exquisite flavors that bring local food to life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does ticket purchasing work?

On August 22, you will be able to purchase your tickets online via a link at the top of this event page.

When should I arrive?

Our event will take place at Lantern Table, a private dining venue adjacent to the Lantern restaurant. Unless you’ve selected a VIP ticket, plan to arrive at 6:30pm at Lantern's heated four-season garden to enjoy cocktails and conversation and join the bidding in our silent auction. Dinner will begin in Lantern's kitchen dining room around 7:30pm. Doors to the garden are accessed via the alley (Basnight Lane) to the left of the restaurant.

If you've chosen a VIP ticket, please arrive at the garden anytime after 5:30pm. Our champagne toast will be at 6pm.

No printed tickets are needed; please just check in with us at registration upon arrival.

What should I wear?

Let's call it "nice casual," perhaps. We want you to feel comfortable on your night out!

What about parking?

Parking is available in a variety of public lots off Franklin Street. You can download a map of parking options here; lots #3-5 are located closest to Lantern.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Again, let us know when purchasing tickets. The meal will feature meat, with vegetarian options available. We likely can accommodate most health-related dietary restrictions as long as we know at least a week in advance.

Should I bring my kids?

While we love kids, this event is for the adults. Consider it a much-needed date night!

I can't come, but would love to support the event.

Thank you! To make a donation you can simply give through the Farmer Foodshare website. We're so grateful for your support and will gladly raise a glass in your honor!
