Amy keeps the wheels moving at Farmer Foodshare. A New Hampshire native, Amy moved to North Carolina in 2009 with her husband and two children and quickly fell in love with the climate and the hospitality of the South.

With a background in administration, customer service, compliance testing, and monitoring and reporting to state regulators, she has fostered relationships with small business owners, community stakeholders, and local officials alike.

Amy developed a passion for local agriculture and supporting marginalized communities, and she enjoys volunteering with nonprofits who serve people with disabilities and working towards a more inclusive community. Amy has had a lifelong love of gardening, floral design, cooking, foraging for mushrooms, hiking, and kayaking. Most weekends you can find her celebrating with her fellow paddlers throughout the Triangle and beyond.
