Cam has called Durham home since 2017 and is originally from Pilot Mountain, NC, where they grew up harvesting fresh fruits and vegetables and learning to cook with their Grandma Jo. Cam believes food plays a multitude of meaningful roles in our lives and has spent the last 10 years working in the food system. From working with small scale local farms in the piedmont to sourcing local food for food cooperatives, Cam now works as a business advisor for independently owned natural foods retailers in the Southeast.
