Fred became a fan and supporter of Farmer Foodshare during the Covid experience while managing a drive-thru testing site in East Durham. Farmer Foodshare coordinated with Fred, the placement of substantial food boxes in the trunk of each car.

Fred is an Assistant Professor in Duke’s Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. He received his MBA from Babcock Graduate School of Management, Wake Forest University and his BA from Loyola University, Baltimore MD. 

Fred has served on numerous Non-Profit Boards, most recently a founding Board member of Dataworks, NC and completed three years with Green Rural Redevelopment Organization, Henderson NC.
